SWM SuperDual 650 Adventure - The EICMA 2015 is now behind us, we are already working on the next edition, but there is still some news that we had not even discussed. SWM, historical brand of the Italian off-road, recently reborn thanks to a consortium between Italian and Chinese entrepreneurs, led to the Milan Salone his renewed off-road range and a brand new proposal for “dual sport”, dedicated to tourism where the road is not more asphalt. It’s called SWM SuperDual 650 Adventure.

The starting point is the already known RS 650, converted from the old model Husqvarna production (SWM took over the production plants of the time MV / BMW) and equipped with single cylinder 600 cc liquid-cooled with electronic fuel injection, distribution 4 valve dual overhead cam head and 6-speed transmission.
The chassis is the same but eye the suspension is slightly lowered, thus more suitable for road driving through the center of gravity closer to the ground and the ability to rest your feet better. The new tank, larger, is capable of 19 liters and appear protection bars and a well-profiled seat on two levels, ideal for the passenger.

The thing that makes this even more adventurous bike is the set of accessories, with fairing that protects (albeit slightly) from the air and rigid side cases and regularly shaped, aluminum (optional only). More spotlights depth and the ability to mount a soft bag or a trunk in the rear rack.
The coloring is more sober and darker than the sports version was made from, all on the dark gray and black tones. We will see it on the market next spring, in 2016, at a price yet to be defined.
