AJP PR7 Usata - Not long ago we told you about AJP, Portuguese brand that produces enduro really interesting, which for 2015 has renewed its range and for 2016, as we saw at EICMA, in Serbia has a real motorcycle adventure, finally version standard after the concept presented in Cologne last year. AJP PR7 Usata speaks of a motorcycle born for adventure tourism, although it seems ready to put the stickers with the number to address the Dakar. The extreme lines try to make inroads on their rally raid enthusiasts who want a bike capable of dealing with the off-road so egregious, but also to allow mileage without much effort and with typical reliability of motorcycle road.

The engine is a 600cc single-cylinder, dual overhead camshaft and liquid cooling. The engine is made by the Italian company SWM (this is also a newly reborn brand) and was chosen to replace the 658cc Minarelli initially shown with the prototype.

The AJP PR7 Usata is an extreme motorcycle in look, but less in the components, thanks to an aluminum twin spar frame from quotas not too “racing”, the adjustable fork with 300 mm of travel Sachs and rear suspension with piggyback system, always produced by Sachs. The single 300 mm front discs with twin-piston caliper, single piston rear on a 240 mm disc.

The tank is able to bring 17 liters and the total weight of the medium is limited to 165 kg. As instrumentation has a huge LCD type screen tablet, probably capable of displaying the road book. Will go into production next year and will be distributed throughout Europe at a price of 10,000 Euros, not too cheap but not overdone. If you have the ability to mount and carry suitcases of luggage it may be a good alternative to other single category.
