Benelli TRK 502 Spec, Adventurous but not too demanding

Benelli TRK 502 - Benelli is one of the homes that most surprised us at the Milan Show 2015, thanks to some interesting news for the European and international market, starting from the beautiful Lion Cub and dall’inedita TRK 502, a “small GS” that bears concept adventurer in the world of economic low to medium-powered motorcycle.

Adventurous but not too demanding

The number of the name is, of course, for the displacement: its twin-cylinder 4-stroke, liquid cooled, in common with the Cub and delivers 48 hp at 8500 g / min, while the torque of 45 Nm at 4500 rpm is more than acceptable for a means of this displacement. 6-speed transmission and chain final drive make it ideal for motorway journeys that off-road.

trellis frame in steel tube, suspension upside-down fork with 50mm and 145mm of travel and rear suspension with adjustable spring preload. 20-liter tank, 19 “wheels front with double wave disk and 17” rear single disc. Standard ABS. The weight is not so content, 210 kg dry.

A small GS

The aesthetic is clearly inspired by the queen of the category, the BMW R1200GS, but it is not too plagiarized and has enough original lines, sharp and pleasant. The idea that conveys is that of a true adventurer, perhaps with larger displacements. In Italy and in Europe, we will see in the second half of 2016 and the price has not yet been defined
