2016 Volvo S90 - Are Volvos Expensive To Fix - Car maker from Sweden is ready to make a replacement of S80, they built 2016 Volvo S90. 4 years ago this car was shown at Car Show in Shanghai as a concept named Universe but now they are ready to start the production and make comeback with big luxury sedan. Volvo is factory that is well known by producing luxury car so this one is also going to be super luxury vehicle.

Exterior will be borrowed from Concept Coupe from the 2013. At the front of the car there are going to be newly headlights with T-shaped daytime running lights and grille will be just like on the XC90. Hood will have more muscular look that also look like on the XC90. At the back, taillights are going to be like on the Concept Coupe but a little thinner, bumper won`t be that much aggressive and the trunk will be wider and it will have bigger cargo space. Everything we can see at the outside of the 2016 Volvo S90 made as believe that this is more elegant version of S80.

Interior of 2016 Volvo S90 will also borrow some things from XC90 but most of things inside are going to be new. Whole cabin is going to be made from metallic accents, wooden trims and leather upholstery. Most of the effort, Volvo put in installing hi-tech features. Infotainment with new updates and a lot of electronic features are there to attract new customers. Interesting thing is that instrumental board is going to have only 6 buttons, it`s going to be simple but efficient. Among the many hi-tech features there should be park assist pilot and cross traffic alert.

Like everything else, 2016 Volvo S90 will have even similar engine like XC90 have. Volvo will offer diesel and gasoline 4-cylinder engine and a T8 hybrid model. We expect the same engine as in the XC90, those are D4 turbo diesel that can create power of 190 hp and a torque of 295 lb/ft and second diesel engine will probably be D5 diesel that have ability of creating 225 horse power and 346 lb/ft of torque. Gasoline engines will be T5 with 254 horse power and 258 lb/ft of torque and T6 with power of 316 “horses“ and torque of 295 lb/ft. T8 hybrid version can create power of 400 hp and a torque of 472 lb/ft.
